“Supernatural” is a show that does love to go outside of the box for some episodes here and there, and it does appear that this is precisely what they’re going to be doing for their upcoming February 23 episode entitled “Family Feud.” Before you ask, this doesn’t mean that they are going to be getting Steve Harvey or Louie Anderson to guest star; nonetheless, it does still appear as though there is some interesting stuff coming up as you’re going to get a chance to see the search for Crowley’s son, and a wide array of notable guest stars at just about every turn.
Earlier this week, The CW shared for the first time the official synopsis. Take a look at that below:
“When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) look into a murder at a museum, they learn a ghost from a merchant ship that sunk in 1723 may be at the heart of the mystery. After realizing “The Star” was the same ship that Crowley’s (Mark A. Sheppard) son Gavin McLeod (guest star Theo Devaney) should have been aboard, they enlist help from Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) to track Gavin down. Kelly Kline (guest star Courtney Ford), still pregnant with Lucifer’s child, takes refuge with a demon after an angel attempts to kill her.”
How crazy does this sound to everyone else? It’s pretty hard to be bored by an episode that revolves around a ghost ship, provides Crowley backstory, and gives us more Rowena at the same time. Also, we’re pretty excited to see Courtney Ford coming aboard a CW show at the moment. We’d personally love to see her pop up at some point on “Legends of Tomorrow” alongside her husband Brandon Routh at some point. Make it happen, executives!
