Chicago Med: Episode 2.19 Sneak Peeks – The hospital gets hacked!

Moving into Chicago Med season 2 episode 19, there is going to be another major crisis coming up. However, what’s a little different about this one is that the focus is more on forces outside of the hospital’s control.

What happens when the hospital computer system is hacked? Basically, it could send the doctors spiraling. They, just like everyone else in the modern world, have become increasingly reliant on technology in order to figure out how to use it as a means to an end. Without, they’re going to be left to their own intuition, and they won’t have so many resources. You have to figure that this will impact just about every case that you see.

Meanwhile, you’re also going to see in this episode a big, personal story for Goodwin as you see her ex-husband turn up with a new woman who is in his life. This almost is an interesting reflection from the episode earlier this season where we saw one of her first loves so many years later — unfortunately, this arrival could be stressful in a very different way.

For some further information, all you have to do is look below…

Synopsis – “A hacker demanding a ransom payment shuts down the hospital computer system, forcing the doctors to diagnose patients without the aid of technology. A stressed Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) struggles to keep the hospital afloat when an unexpected visit from her ex-husband Bert (guest star Greg Alan Williams) and his new girlfriend (guest star Garcelle Beauvais) make matters worse. Making use of his former navy experience, Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) and Noah (guest star Roland Buck III) have to locate a bullet inside a patient with a gunshot wound. Meanwhile, Sarah (Rachel DiPillo) feels Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) may be trying to push her out and Robin’s (Mekia Cox) unusual behavior worries Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell).”

Promo – This is all about the hospital hack, and all of the drama that comes with it. Basically, this isn’t giving you much of a Will / Natalie update following tonight’s embrace … though we’re not sure you expected one
